Taken was a excellent movie! Seen it a few times myself.

As a kid, my favorite movie was Explorers (1985) even to this day I love sitting down with a big bowl of coco puffs and watching this. Ethan Hawk is in this which I didn't realize until some months ago even though I new the kid looked familiar I couldn't pin point it until I was googling about it.

As a teen up until my adult hood now my all time favorite would be starship troopers, I'm a fan of scifi action films at heart and this one is still holding it's own imo today even though the sequels were horrible.

Today, I'm all for the new actions movies but I'm still a fan of classics to me allot of the movies now days just don't have what movies had in the 80's and 90's.

My all time favorite has to be the movie "Goodfellas" Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of the same movies you guys are posting, but you can't leave out the mob movies. Casino is coming in at a close 2nd. Sam "Ace" Rothstein was the shiznit. 3rd, I'd have to say "Full Metal Jacket" Now thats a war movie for that a$$
