(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm looking to buy a new car. Second hand car but a good decent one. I'm on decent money but everywhere I've applied you need to be in the same job for at least 12 months. I've been in my current job for 6 months. I was wondering is there any other way, or just that way?

It's tough man just stick it out for the next 6 months do not rush into things. You stuck it out this far what is another 6 months. Give yourself options instead of limiting your self by rushing.

Work out a payment plan for a loan with a credit union. It's tough to get involved with solid unions this day and age though. Most relationships are established through companies and recommendations. See what is around your area and preferably the locally-run ones. The car loan payment plans at the dealership are utter garbage. Remember to always be in good standing with the credit union as they can fuck you down the road big time. Good luck man!

Have you tried getting someone with established credit to cosign for you? That'll usually do it.

Yeah I might just have to get my father to do it for me. he's been in the same job for over 10 years and i presume has a decent credit rating.
