(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Nintendo has announced that they are releasing The NES Classic Edition system which is a miniaturized version of the groundbreaking NES, originally released in 1985. This miniature version of the Original Nintendo Entertainment System will be packed with 30 of the most-beloved games from the original consoles lifespan, it will in retail starting November 11th at the price of $59.99, just right for the holiday season.

The Mini-NES will come with an HDMI so that it will work with all the modern televisions, the downside is that it only comes with one controller that is a 100% replica of the original rectangular controller. You can purchase more controllers if you need them for an extra $9.99.

Here are the 30 Games coming back to the Mini-NES:

  • Balloon Fight
  • Bubble Bobble
  • Castlevania
  • Castlevania II: Simon's Quest
  • Donkey Kong
  • Donkey Kong Jr.
  • Double Dragon II: The Revenge
  • Dr. Mario
  • Excitebike
  • Final Fantasy
  • Galaga
  • Ghosts 'n Goblins
  • Gradius
  • Ice Climber
  • Kid Icarus
  • Kirby's Adventure
  • Mario Bros.
  • Mega Man 2
  • Metroid
  • Ninja Gaiden
  • Pac-Man
  • Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr.Dream
  • StarTropics
  • Super C
  • Super Marios Bros.
  • Super Marios Bros. 2
  • Super Marios Bros. 3
  • Tecmo Bowl
  • The Legend of Zelda
  • Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

These games offer a nice mix of cult classics, timeless favorites and maybe even some games that you never got around to playing. Each game is sure to bring back memories and create new ones. You can even play several of these games with two players by attaching a second NES Classic Controller. If you ever want to quit playing a game, or even think about sleeping? Then you're in luck because each game has multiple suspend points, so you can start where you left off at a later time, no passwords needed.
