Let's not forget Trump scammed a ton of students with his 'Trump University', and the fact that he's gone bankrupt 3 times, yet the American citizens are more than happy to let him deal with our fiscal policy. Or the fact that he called all Mexicans, not just illegals, criminals, and offered no support for Muslim refugees who've lost their homes, because they may be terrorists and will 'rape out women'. Let's not forget that the majority of the American population is made up of immigrants and/or descendants of immigrants, and that the citizenship process for coming to America has an incredible backlog, of up to 20 years, or that Mexico and other other countries down south, are increasingly consumed by cartels, kidnappings, drugs, rape, and other vile acts, and that a lot of the illegals coming to America aren't doing it to spread gang activity, but to achieve a better life for their families.
So what happens when he fails to make Mexico build a wall? He uses up taxpayer money to build it? Then what? We have west and east coasts; should we blockade them as well? Okay you driven back all these illegals back into poverty-stricken, destructive countries, where they will be joining the cartels or die trying to live peacefully, great job. What about the legals? Trump called all Mexicans criminals, and sees all Muslims as jihadists. You think he'll hesitate to treat the legal citizens the way we treated the Japanese-Americans during WWII? That he would hesitate to move them all into internment camps? So no, racism, sexism, and bigotry are not good qualities in a person, and definitely not in a leader. Congress should've done the right thing and have it set to where, if the leading candidates for presidency are faced with legal charges and have to appear in a trial during their campaigns, they should automatically be disqualified, despite the ruling decision, as they would already be seen as criminals.
Honesty, it isn't trump's fault for students relying and picking on his university. They should've known better to research more about the school rather than to trust it and pay for it. Besides, there are many universities that do this through T.V advertisements, and as sad as it could get, these universities get away with committing these types of scams.
You might believe immigrants are trying to come here for a better life, but why take the risk of crossing the border and risk their lives when they can wait a year or so just to get their visa status? Yes, it cost a lot of money, and it does take a while to get a visa and no refund if rejected, but there are reasons as to why they are rejected in the first place. I visited the border wall and talked with border patrol agents, and they say they always have to constantly face illegal activities of drugs being transported, and tunnels being built just for drugs. To even cross the border, people have to rely on smugglers who not only take away money to "help" them cross (the cost of illegally crossing the border = buying a visa), but these smugglers don't give a shit about these families crossing the border and thus, they risk their lives through the death of the deserts. Less families are crossing the border wall these days, and more drug smugglers are coming through, so improving the wall and security would help border patrols prevent these illegal drugs from happening.
Trump exaggerates with all the racial accusations that he points out to different groups of people. However, that's the way Donald Trump gets people's attention. No one is going to listen to him if he isn't going to specifically tell the issues that go on in America. He has to be explicit and point out the causes of problems that America faces. He can't simply be vague upon his argument and say everyone is a criminal. Don't want ISIS anymore? Don't want the drugs from spreading? Well then, let's get people's attention and point out the truth that everyone should acknowledge to. Hating is the only way to improve feedback and encourage motivation to find a solution to the problem.
