Need it to be a sedan, All Wheel Drive or Front Wheel Drive, no rear wheel, no pick up trucks. My budget is around $25,000 and under. Can be an automatic or stick shift.

Was looking at this car earlier, it's a hatchback, but it doesn't look like one tbh. Really nice 6 speed manual GTI. Need an all around yearly car, not just a sporty summer car like a Mustang GT or Camaro.

Any car recommendations?

I'm a RWD fan, have had NO problems in winter. A good set of tires is what you need for any car. In some provinces/states it's mandatory. The argument is what, the FWD only needs good front tires and you're set with the engine weight? FWD cars are usually unibodies and sit lower too, so ice chunks and high snow will ruin the car.

AWD and true 4WD cars do get stuck in winter too...just farther from home

lol whats ur deal with lancers? they are trash. the company might aswell give up selling cars in the US. no one buys one wouldn't it just suck to buy a new car with an extended warranty and then have no dealerships to do that warranty work in 3 years on it. kam lives in ohio, it tends to snow a good bit there his best bet overall is a truck or suv. not a fucking rear wheel drive car. it snows there 6months out of the year. if he wants somthing sporty then get a sport suv somthing like a forester xt or a v8 grand cherokee or an audi allroad if he can find a clean one with all the maintenance records

Nobody buys a lancer? Are you serious? That's not true, maybe where you live nobody owns one. And I live in NYC which is roughly the same latitude as Ohio and winters here are rough as well. And it doesn't snow 6 months a year in Ohio lol. And like I said, the lancer has a default AWD option. So in rough weather he can flip that switch on and he's set for whatever nature throws at him. And when he doesn't need it, he can switch it to RWD. AWD uses more gas and puts more strain on the engine than FWD/RWD. So that dual drivetrain is a unique feature. Also the lancer is affordable and easy to drive. Kam even said himself he doesn't want a truck so I'm giving him my recommendation of a lancer which roughly fits his criteria/standards. Also the lancer isn't even a performance car anymore, especially the base model which I've been talking about. It has a 4 cylinder too with only 168 hp, nothing too extreme for snowy conditions. I think you need to visit Russia my friend. It's commonplace to see STIs spinning out of control and they have their symmetrical all wheel drive system. Drivetrain has little to no affect on traction. I can attest to this because I've managed to powerslide my all wheel drive Toyota Land Cruiser. Of course in a control environment nowhere near trees, other vehicles, and pedestrians.

Agreed. Most sport cars like the Mustang GT have lower mileage than an everyday car. The GTI's mileage is 24 city 34 highway which isn't bad at all.
