(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); well this just shows how bad the Cowboys are. All this week I heard how Dallas is the best team in the playoffs and how they are going to have no trouble with the Vikings. Looks like that all turned around this week with Favre and co. torching the Cowboys. Sidney Rice is playing great and I think we will beat the saints and face the chargers in the super bowl. Anyones thoughts on this game?

Do you realize how quick Warner got sacked vs Saints?
He was in the pocket for at most 5-6 seconds before getting sacked.

10 seconds is alot of time.

Hi, I don't like you
You can slow down a blitz by running the ball, something Arizona doesn't do. Along with screens to the running backs out of the back field and blitzing can be completely neutralized. Trust me, as a fan of the Eagles I know how easily blitzing can be taking out of the game.

I havent seen anyone who has complelty ruined the Saints blitzing this year. Noone who has taken it outa the game, other than maybe the Cowboys, when the Saints defence had a really bad game.

You don't need to ruin the scheme, just slow it down. Blitzing is all about rushers going all out at the QB, they can't do that if they have to worry about runs, screens, and play action.

Lets go back and look at the schedule and see how the Saints played against teams that run the ball effectively:
Week 1-3: Lions couldn't do anything right. Eagles don't know how to run the ball. Bills had a horrible offensive line and had nothing going for them. All games won by 18+points.
Week 4: Ah, the first time they faced a team that can pound the rock the Jets. Saints win by 14. Saints probably lose here if the Jets had a seasoned vet at qb and not a rookie.
Week 6: The Giants had a horrible time getting anything going running the ball this year. Again a lopsided victory for the Saints.
Week 7-10: All faced teams with legit running backs and running games. Largest victory was by 10 against the Panthers. Teams were the Falcons,Dolphins,Panthers,Rams. 3 of the 4 can't throw teams can't throw the ball if their life depended on it. Costly mistakes by young inexperienced QBs caused their respective teams defeat. Exception being the Panthers game.
Week 11-12: Lopsided wins against the Patriots who don't run the ball and the Bucs who couldn't do much right.
The rest of the way was pretty much not good for the Saints.

Point being is their defense is weak against a team that can run the ball like the Vikings. Add that into account with the fact they can throw the ball and it doesn't look good for the Saints defense.
