(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); PewDiePie just posted his response in regards to The Wall Street Journal's article claiming that he is an anti-semite and fascist. Whether you like this guy or not, you have to agree that what the WSJ did was bullshit and definitely falls under slander. It'll be interesting if PewDiePie tries to sue them for defamation considering they are a big reason for his partnership getting revoked and his Youtube show being cancelled. What do you think about it?

he did make distasteful jokes, and that did backfire on him, so he really has no one to blame but himself even if wsj and disney went too far. other comedians have had distasteful jokes backfire on them in the past

Yeah that's true but the biggest problem here isn't just that, it was the video that the WSJ put together using clips out of context that made him look like he was actually a fascist and that he supported Hitler lol check it out if you haven't seen it You must login or register to view this content.

Everything about this is distasteful. The joke was horrible, as was the way WSJ went after him. That's the price you pay for being in the limelight. He messed up and they ran with it. I'm never surprised that it takes an uproar for YouTube to display their disapproval when it comes to an uploader who brings in a lot of their traffic. I'd also hate to be associated with antisemitism but I feel that he left himself open to it.

Jesus fuck, I can't believe I'm agreeing with Toke, but here I am.

What WSJ was slightly distasteful but I can see why they did it. Disney supporting a guy doing anti-semitic jokes out of context or not, probably isn't a good image for a company focused on kids. I don't think he's an anti-semite at all, I don't think many people think he's an actual anti-semite, but kids watch him and they're easily influenced, they might find it funny OR they might actually believe it and start thinking Hitler actually didn't do anything wrong.

I think he should just go back to doing what he was doing and stay away from the drama hes to into himself now and lashing out about random things and youtube if he keeps it up it won't end well.
