Most ppl who do go through with suicide are suffering, mentally. It takes a lot of will power to kill yourself, I don't judge anyone, especially not the ones who kill themselves. It might not seem plausible to you, but they don't think like you. Me, I could kill myself rn without a second thought. I only have my dad and brother left in my life so I wouldn't be leaving anyone behind, they also believe in life after death. Some ppl think death is the end, but I know it's not. If you're the average person, death is probably traumatic for you, everyone's different.
