ye its obvious listen to pull the plug then listen to the crystal mountain. he goes from a defined growl to basically talking. then it goes to a more modern style scream if u listen to spirit crusher, i prefer more the melodic death metal. i rarely listen to it much anymore i mostly listen to core and whatever else i want

i really like the scream bloody gore album it still got growls in it butch chuck was one of the few lead singers of death metal wat you actely can understand

i've been around i can pretty much understand everyone its not hard, most of the death albums hes basically talking. i mean it isn't like death is even that heavy towards the tailend of chucks life compared to other mid 90s acts

but i mean like if your new to it like people that dont even listen to death metal can understand him and i really liked hes style of playing and the many solos
