a tripod is a stand to make your camera still, and you can even get it at some electronic stroe but regurally you can find it in all department stores like target, walmart, marshalls, etc.....

Theres Stands That You Can Get With That Camera LOL Then You Set It Up To Your T.V. Height.

You could try recording into a DVR specifically made for taking a signal from RCA Inputs.
