One time I was eating my lunch at a park next to my high school. I sat on a dock next to the Concho River and smelled something very nasty. I then posted on Facebook, "beautiful day out here, the only thing killing it is the smell out here".*

Later that day, it was discovered that underneath that dock where I was sitting, was the decaying, flouting corpse of one of the guys that went to my high school.*

I didn't believe it at first, but the evidence was irrefutable. The body was right beneath me the entire time. I quickly removed my post upon hearing this.*

I couldn't sleep that night, and still gives me chills to this day.*

Used to have a job cleaning at the hospital. One day I'm told to clean the morgue after a harvest. That's when someone donates their organs when they die. The blood and various viscera wasn't the worst part. But I made the mistake of looking in the fridge while cleaning and saw a body bag for an infant. I know it happens and all but man seeing a body bag that small has still stuck with me after all these years.
