When you say "we", who are you referring to? As an Eagle fan I sure as hell don't want Mike Vick to be the starting QB of this team. We already have a QB that can't hit the broad side of the barn, don't need another one. Add that with Vick is 29 turning 30 a new QB would be needed again in a few years. Trade Vick and McNabb and with those draft picks you get bolster that defense. Hand the keys to the car to Kolb and see what he has.

Dude, I hate to be rude but if you are saying this you know nothing about football. Vick has been in jail for 2 years and is rusty, that is what I would have said at the beginning of the season. McNabb is a borderline HoF'er and he is an amazing player. Michael Vick in his prime was not as good ac McNabb. I am a Falcons fan and a proud Vick supporter but Vick is/was not as good as McNabb!

Mike Vick wasn't a better QB then McNabb ever and never will be. If as Eagles fans we are satisfied with just getting to the dance then we minus we'll just stick with McNabb. Both are good enough to get you there, but neither will be hoisting that Lombardi Trophy when all is set and done. Hell, going back on what I said Vick was good enough to get you there, I have my doubts as to whether he still can get you to the playoffs. I watched all the Eagles games and he lacked that it factor he use to have. Only time will tell if he will ever show shades of what he use to be. Quite frankly, now would be the perfect time for the Eagles to trade McNabb. This years free agent pool is thin at Quarterback (speculated top QB available this off season is Culpepper), there isn't that can't miss prospect in the draft, and quite a few contenders can find themselves in need for a QB that and the fact some of these pretenders need to sell tickets. Teams like the Cardinals, Vikings(pending Favres retirement) are two contenders that could use the services of McNabb. Then factor in teams like the Panthers, Rams. Overall, the Eagles need to unload both McNabb and Vick and with those picks rebuild that defense.

michael vick is a 2nd string QB, 1/3 of the time he had the ball in his hands he fumbled it or didnt get much of a gain, he wasnt even that good in atlanta..he barely broke .500 as a starter, when he runs, he doesnt tuck the ball..leading to excess turnovers, has a weird throwing motion that DBs can and do exploit..mcnabb is their franchise QB and puts up solid numbers all year...hes an all pro QB and is an established leader...vick is to unreliable to start with the eagles..hes better off trying to go to minesota or san fran, or maybe buffalo...but as for mcnabb..he wont be losing starting Qb for a while
