I was wondering myself if they patched the left side but never tried it because I play pubs.

Yep that way is patched now.

I actually had time to try it and I get it in a few tries. Though I tried it without agility and couldn't do it with a 100% speed weapon. Probably possible, but if anything I'd imagine it taking maaaaad strafing skills.
