I am on Habib 4.53 cobra cfw and I am trying to get some of the tools for ghost to connect with my ps3 and not one of them is working for me. I know it's something I am doing because I haven't been in the jailbreak scene since 2010-11. I have searched for hours and am still in the dark. Is there a link or a tutorial to point me in the right direction? I was able to figure out how to change EBOOT.BIN and I remember from mw2 changing patches but that's about it. I am doing this to have fun on ghost but my main reason is because I want to learn whatever I can because that's the fun part. I am in school for programming but have been just taking care of the general math, science etc classes first. Thanks for any help.

If I were you I would make sure you are own a dex kernel. Then downgrade to 3.55 DEX. After that install PS3Ita. It is one of the, if not, the best dex firmware out right now.

Well see that's my problem, I don't really know much about cex/rex /dex or kernals. I know I could figure it out but I don't want to learn the hard way by bricking my ps3 or ending up on a high ofw. I pretty sure I can figure out how to get over to a dex fw by researching. Once I go from cex to dex I can go back to cex right?
