Make sure you connect when you loaded the multiplayer.

Most tools are badly coded and they do show that they are attached when they arnt.

Make sure you enter the right IP.
Try the tool by PureHavoc, it show's on your TV that it is connected. Just to be sure :-)

If you arnt using a Static IP it might switch whenever you turn your ps3 on.

Yes, you should attach when you are in multiplayer. You probably attach when you are at the main screen, multiplayer is another process.

Since you are on CEX do you have CCAPI 2.00 installed on your PS3.
