if you're using a public CID then most likely it is banned.

Nah I was using a private id cause the id is still good to get online just not on ghost

I read you gotta change mac address before you change cid. It said only change the last 2 digets to F and then whatever number you desire, wish I know where I read it so I could give them credit.

I thought sony only had the right to ban a CID if that console had been tampered with( Installing CFW ) which then void any kind of warranty from sony? Hence giving them the right to ban any system that they deemed to have broken those terms. And if your console has OFW and hasn't been tampered with doesn't that make it illegal for them to do that? I would seek legal advice if they banned my CID on OFW that just seems a bit wrong to me.

Well I didn't say that they've banned your CID from playstation network. You can still play games just not Call of Duty Ghosts. Infinity Ward has every right to ban you from there game if you violate there terms of service. It could start off with an account reset, then an account ban, then after a few account bans, they will ban your console id from accessing ghosts.
