Simply put, if your PS3 is currently connected to PSN and it's NOT jailbroken, you won't get it jailbroken. Unless you have the cash to shell out for a firmware flashing service, but I doubt it because you're looking for free mods.
Rule of thumb: If you can get your PS3 to firmware 3.55, by either flashing it back down to 3.55 or buying a different PS3 already at 3.55 firmware then you CAN jailbreak it. Other than that, don't bother modding Ghosts or most PS3 games for that matter.

Well since you don't have a jailbroken PS3 then you can't really mod on Ghosts, you can find yourself a modding buddy and he can give you mods while in game with him. But MW2 had infections & cfg and it was pretty easy to mod even if on a OFW. But no one's found anything on ghosts and I don't think they will for the moment as infinity ward is banning console id's.
