Before I begin, let me apologise for my lack of knowledge. I don't remember the last time I had to set up my PS3 for RTMing. Now, to the issue:

1) Last night I decided that it's a waste of time for me to grind for teeth offline (getting a maximum of 4 teeth/regardless of how many relics I use) and so I thought I'd use one of the many RTM tools that have Extinction functions. Having downloaded a couple, I connected CCAPI (ProDG just does not want to connect to my PS3, so I used CCAPI instead and it worked flawlessly the first time) to my PS3 and attached the patch to Ghosts ONCE IN THE MAIN MENU. I then loaded up my offline profile and tried changing the amount of teeth: nothing happened. I then tried to modify my prestige - also no luck. I enter the data and then click enter (in some cases, I also tick a checkbox next to the numbers). I even tried modifying the offsets in CCAPI, but the ones for teeth that I've found don't seem to work - or at least I don't know what the correct value is to "Poke".

2) I also tried installing a debug EBOOT (and debugging my own one with the Resigner and make_self programs). All give me the 80010017 error and the game fails to boot. I leave the default_mp.self alone (is this correct?) and only copy the debug EBOOT into the BLUS31270 directory. Is a debug EBOOT required to modify Extinction stats offline? * I don't have PSN access, so can't play Solo online.

3) To sum this up, why aren't the tools working in modifying my Extinction (offline) stats? A tool successfully gave me infinite ammo through the "Client" -> right-click -> infinite ammo method, as well as UFO mode and a few other mods. But whenever I try to modify the prestige, XP or number of teeth there is no effect. * I always quit the game though, never completing it fully. Is this a possible reason? Any help would be appreciated, since I am no longer willing to earn a max of 12 teeth a day before getting bored (and thus spending a disproportionate amount of time on Ghosts) to earn a few Armory upgrades. * I'm running REBUG's 4.41 D-REX, with CEX kernel and CEX on that other menu field. Planning to update to 4.46 soon.
