I just recently got banned myself. I have been using the tool since last week everyday. I don't know if it was a console ban, profile ban, or mac address banned but I will find out right now. If it was just an account ban or mac address ban I won't play until an update or something is made for the tool. I thought that I was the only one that got banned but I see otherwise.
Edit: It looks like it may have only been a ban on that particular account because when I try different accounts it tells me that the servers aren't available. So IW must be trying to do a little tidying up on there servers lol. I'll go ahead and change my mac right now just in case they caught it.

Bro its a console ban. I know when I got banned 1st time a month back ( when I started playing game for the 1st time ).. Same error on the current profile and other ones too , that servers aren't available.
I don't know what is the reason though . May be they acted on your previous gameplays ( if you edited your stats or get reported earlier ) . This is a ban wave. I didn't login for last 24 hours now since the clan war is over ( Playing new game PVZ garden warfare ). But I can see on my Cod app that my profile is safe. You should change your mac + new CID + delete old update in game data utility folder , reinstall and play after 2-3 days.
Just to mention I get banned 2wice earlier only because of downloading invasion dlc ( and this get me profile / console id banned twice ) from the one of guy's (GIPPY) thread here.
Also I try to avoid get reported by mostly playing as a semi camper ( not run and gun ) and if I accidentally shoot somebody behind the wall.. I play like dummy for like next 2-3 min and die lol to make them think its an accident.. lol

Bro. what I feel the safer way to not get reported is 1. avoid going over 30 kills in a tdm/ hctdm unless you died 2-10 times(depends on opposition). 2. If team in front is really good , avoid losing your cool . PPl do lose their cool ( atleast I did few times earlier ) and bang walls accidentally thinking enemy is right in front ( was using glow players so make mistake ). If it happen must play like a noob after.. My K/D is 2.6 , semi camper , I run but camp around the areas for a 1-2 min.

There's now way to prevent being banned unless your just a bum like everybody else. Legitimate guys have been banned on ofw due to numerous reports by noobs. Infinity Ward can't tell who's a modder, and who isn't so they'll ban any good account that they see on a ban wave. You just have to either be a bum, or lucky enough not to be on during the wave I suppose. I haven't been on all day yet I still got banned. But I deserve it, not any of my friends that are on ofw but still got banned.

Bro they do ban ppl on some grounds , they must have saw something with your gameplay which they found fishy ( and I never reported anyone reason is I am scared that it might get me instead). There is no way they just ban you coz you are reported.. They most likely watched your gameplay video after being reported multiple times and that is the reason. Like you said few of your friends on OFW got banned earlier as well. May be they communicate very well and kill enemy behind walls/run-gun fast ( coz of perks/ better communication - but again reporting mutliple times for such reasons make them suspicious ) And to be honest if you say your k/d is 3.6 legit, you don't need any tool
