The highly anticipated Moto X will be launching on August 23rd on AT&T. Motorola's new flagship phone which was made in partnership with Google will be launching at $199.99 on a 2 year contract for the 16GB model. The 32GB model will cost $249.99 on a 2 year old contract.

The phone doesn't boast massively impressive specs like it's competitors. Instead, Motorola wanted to focus on the user experience. Motorola made it clear that they didn't want to join in the spec race. Why would they? The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a monstrous CPU but still stutters due to poor software optimizations.

Another massive selling point of the Moto X is the amount of customization options Motorola are offering. Moto Maker is a tool made by Motorola that allows you to customize your phone in almost endless possibilities. You can even sign in to your Google account and choose your wallpaper before you receive your phone. Thanks to being manufactured in the USA you can choose your phone and have it delivered in 4 days. So what if you don't like it? Well, you can send it back within 14 days and Motorola will change it out.

So will you be getting a Moto X? Do you think it will sell as well as its' competitors?

Shit phone for the price. Only good thing is the battery. The rest is a gimmick. Motorola missed a trick and that was competitive pricing - they should reduce the price heavily.

As I said, specs don't mean much. The phone is fluid according to reviewers. Fluid and unmatchable battery life beats out the GS4 in my opinion.

Entering into the market at a lower price point allows them to push specs later down the line.

Hope other phone makers allow that much freedom Smile

Hope it don't overheat like my RAZR. As that's really its only flaw.
