(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Google is reported to be ending the Nexus brand after 2015 in favor of google play editions branding.
Unknown if google is going to rename handsets, which was meant to carry Nexus branding and give it Google play editions branding or ending the line with no replacement.

Likely it's just a rename killing the Nexus name in the process, the company has already put a big focus on Google play so could be true.
Of course the company may end up killing off the cheapest phone line in an effort to get more companies selling Android devices.
Nokia are meant to be working on an Android based device.

Recently reports are confusing due to some leaked images showing off Nexus devices with different coloured casing.
Of course the leak could be nothing but some photoshopped images.

If google does go ahead one question has to be asked?
Google play edition or another brand name to appear.

Above link is from a leaker who been ahead of a couple companies when it comes to big news.
So google play may not be set in stone after all who wants an Kit kat phone. Just remember not eat it.
