I Wanted to make this post because i recently connected my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3(SPH-L710) to FreedomPop and now I'm getting Unlimited Data-500 Texts-200 Minutes For $0.00 a month, Crazy right? I'm not much of a person that calls and texts people, i'm usually on social media(That's When the UNLIMITED DATA kicks in). I don't know if this is just happening to me, I have only had this service for about a week(I'll keep this thread updated) but I'm getting 4G LTE and 3G(in some places). well this is what i did...
Only Works on SPRINT PHONES
1) I had my Galaxy S3 on cm11 but then flashed it to 4.4.4 Kitkat
2) I went to FreedomPop pops website for there Bring Your Own Device(BYOD) service
3) Got a plan that's $0.00 for 500MB of data, 500 Texts, and 200 Minutes (There's a $20.00 Activation fee)
4) Filled out my information on the website
5) Downloaded the FreedomPop Text App and MyFreedomPop app(Which gives you free 200MB for that month, So 700MB all together for the first month)
6) [s]In my Setting in Connections>More Networks>Mobile Networks>Network Mode i had it set to LTE/CDMA (When i changed it to CDMA i noticed FreedomPop will calculate your data)[/s]
Went back to CDMA because when i was on LTE/CDMA FreedomPop will calculate my data and will stop the data. On CDMA FreedomPop will calculate data usage but won't stop the service.
7) I have used more than 288MB of data but when i go to MyFreedomPop App or on there website it still shows that i have 700MB of data

When i switched to CDMA in my setting and started using data, FreedomPop did notice i was using data so in the screenshots below you'll see that i have used data (I randomly got 1 free MB of data)

I'm not saying that you have to get this deal(I don't know if this will work for everyone)
Update #1:(10/11/14)
I've keep this thread in mind and i went ahead and started downloading large files(about 700MB - 2GB) and my data on FreedomPops website and app are still not showing that I've been using data. I did notice FreedomPop did give me another 2 free MB of data(lol). I have 23 days left in my billing cycle, I will update this thread if anything happens with data calculating. So if you do have a spare Galaxy S3(SPH-L710) and have $20 and if you're looking to connect it, i would recommend this...

Update #3:(11/19/14)
...Oh shiz, haven't been on NGU for some time now (couldn't update my Clash of Clans post). So I'm on my second month of service from FreedomPop, now I'm only getting 3G but it's okay because I'm still getting unlimited date

it's a okay service. Trying to get another Sprint phone so i can try if it will work on different phones. Other than that I'm still using FreedomPop...and I'm using Wifi Tethering which is really nice. I have done a speed test I've gotten Download: 1.11Mbps Upload: 0.84 Mbps Ping: 91ms. With that said I'll update this post if something happens, now let me smoke this shit...
