I re-launched the game and a new character created by itself replacing my #1 slot even though my #1 spot was used before but then was deleted. Will I get my old character back?

im hoping somehow my character reappears, possibly when the new update releases. i really cba to rank up again and again.

Rockstar has said they are aware that some of our characters have been reset and they are working to fix it, along with the pile of other stuff. If you haven't already, do not override your saved character with another one.

Rockstar will fix this
