Edit: I guess I should have been a little more precise for the sceptics in this thread. I did not get banned on the accounts I gave money to justthe accounts I ranked above 600. And someone also said that this is probably a cid ban, it is not. I have 3 playstations and not one of them allow the account names on psn. This is a account ban only

Edit: hey everyone. Just reporting back I finally got a email and it appears it was not a ban because of modding gta. I believe it is a ban from both a public cid and using my backed up game. I apologize for any inconveniece. I was only reporting what happened to me so if it was r* tge same didnt happen for you.

There is no picture, when you try to sign into PSN you get this

"Access to the PlayStation®Network by this account has been banned or temporarily suspended"

Sony is doing the Ban/Suspension, but it seems linked to GTA 5 because it only happened to my 2 GTA 5 RTE accounts.

If I Log in with an account that has not been on GTA 5, it logs in normal.

I dont hack gta personally but i was in a lobby with someone who was continuously giving out 50mil to every single person in the lobby at random.. I hadn't even known he/she was modding at the time do you believe it will affect me?

The reason this is hard to believe is because I'm currently on a suicide account level 1000 with $847,382,856 cash.

For those of you who care to take my word on this, it is a ban directly from sony as it stops you from connecting to psn completely with that name. The message was stated earlier in another post by another individual who has had the same problem. most of my ranks were real high around anywhere from 600 to 1000. I did have one account that I did earlier today that is still not banned and is 1000 so i am guessing the list was started and ended before today.

The fact that you could just be saying this just to avoid people modding online? Or you're actually trying to help? PSN banned you, not R*. How about backing up your post with some visual proof? Maybe the Ban is related to RTE Modding, RTE can have issues with sticking, which means the server side says 1 thing, your account says another, that would be easy for Sony to catch on to.
