You can easily find Trevor's truck in the online mission called "Dirt Road". When you spawn at the start of the mission just walk down the dirt road behind you and you'll see it.

There is a bug with the tow truck. If you tow a npc's vehicle and drive it near other players it will freeze their console. It's a real jerk move to do to random players. Some people will even report you if they see you in servers driving the tow truck. It's not a random bug either you can freeze everyone in the server by doing this.
