Are you on NAT 2 or 1? It sounds like a connectivity issue so I'd suggest resetting your router, connecting ps3 by a new cable if to have one and going from there.

just checked and im nat 2 when i connect thru my laptop with ethernet cable as well as just straight wifi on the ps3...i noticed unpn or whatever is only available when im thru straight wifi...i dunno what that is but just something i noticed. mayb some of the settings on my laptop need to be changed cuz i reset my modem then i just connected the ps3 on wifi off the router instead of from my laptop and the shit works jsut fine now...

thanks kimjong....only useful response i got and im thankful...not only cuz it was useful but cuz it actually worked...thanks again bro +1 for THAT GUY ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I never tried connectin the ps3 via a laptop so couldn't really guess, but maybe some DNS link from the tunables era? Either way I'd recommend either ps3 to router via Ethernet or if you really can't do that then do ps3 to router via wifi.

i cant do the ps3 to router via ethernet since i have my router and all that im my bedroom and ps3 in living room downstairs...wifi off the router is what i usually run so i'll just keep it at that setup.
