So now that this update is out, does this override the 'I'm not a hipster' update and all that content is gone?

Probably a stupid question I know, but I just didn't know if they were adding content then leaving it there, or if they were taking a 'Simpsons Tapped Out' (Android game) approach where the content was only out for a short time.

Also if I aint played in awhile and I decide to, I'll naturally need to update. I take it I'll get all the content I missed out on in previous updates?
