now i would like to do a character transfer but how would i sign out of my old account or make a new one ?

can only have one account on pc would need get rockstar to reset your registration

I asked Rockstar Support 2 weeks ago if it's possible to play with another account. The answer is: "Each activation code is tied to a Social Club Account. If you want to play on your computer with a second Social Club Account, you have to make a new user, log in to the PC, buy a new activation code and then install the game in the second username.". Contact Rockstar Support and hope that they'll reset your registration, if you haven't done this already. (Posted this to give an official confirmation from R*.)
