There's always the possibility of a ban, you have to know this if you plan to mod on the PC. It's possible to try to prevent any sort of system-automated bans for modding but you can always get reported/flagged/etc.

Well from what I hear - VAC doesn't support Steam.

wait theres no more vac on steam what does steam use now cause i thought thats what the cheat protection was. i used steam back years ago and havent really used since.

GTA V just dont uses VAC. All Volvo games are VAC protected.
