(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey NGU, I'll spare you all the tedious details but essentially I'm an avid GTA V player who used USB script menus before, and now I have a 4.80 dex rebug console and want to begin RTM'ing. I've been at this for about a month now trying to learn the correct process for spoofing, etc, and having no luck (mainly due to being a noob and not understanding most of the terminology).*

Where I stand currently:

-DEX 4.8 rebug installed
-PSNinja installed
-PSN Patch installed
-Rebug toolbox installed
-Multiman installed
-Webman installed
-Converted to DEX from CEX
-GTAV copied onto console using multiman (currently BLUS)

My goals are:

Purely mod menus, on-screen, on my ps3. I've been told that without using my PC, I'll be limited with regards to anti-freeze tools, and RTM tools, etc; but where I'm such a noob and I've already bitten off more than I can chew, I want to take it 1 step at a time lol.

First thing I need to do is convert BLUS to BLES, and I've watched and read many tutorials on the subject, but can't seem to grasp what files I'll need ahead of time, or how properly place and name them.

After that, I'll basically need help learning the spoofing process for me to log online to my GTAV Online account. For what it's worth, I'm 30 years old and should be able to grasp and remember this process, without becoming a burden to whoever helps me with constant questions, requests, etc; but I'm here asking for help because I realize how crucial it is to do this correctly to minimize my chances of getting banned. Also I understand CSID's and the risk involved in the various types. For now, I'm just hoping to use my current console ID, and if/when I get console banned, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

What I need is for someone to maybe take me under their wing a bit and show me how to switch BLUS to BLES, and which eboots or files I need to download. I have kik messenger, but if someone is willing to help me with this I'll gladly download whatever app they prefer to use to communicate. Anyways thanks in advance for any help I receive. This has been a long time coming and I can assure you I'll be grateful as can be for your time.

hey hows it going. i would use this tutorial and look in the description to download the blusto bles files. he has a text tutorial in the download on how to place everything (you will need a clean install of blus gta5 dont launch the game after you finished the installation and converted and make sure to remove the disc after you installed it to the hdd)

now for menus themselves you would be better off using gnxs or limbo v2 as these are some of the best free mod menus for gta.

in order to use it. lets say you choose gnxs i imagine when you download the files you should have
gnxs.sprx
EBOOT.BIN

the sprx goes into Dev_hdd0/tmp


and the eboot.bin goes into

dev_hdd0/game/BLES01807/USRDIR

replace the eboot in usrdir with gnxs. or if it doenst come with one use an eboot like prodaikis and rename gnxs.sprx to GtaMenu.sprx

most rtm/rpctools allow you to change your rank or do a couple different things but their isnt an rtm tool that injects the menu like cod. sprx is your best bet.

and so long as youu dont go crazy with the mods and you have an eboot that bypasses the checks for money you should be fine

Also, the guy who replied forgot to mention that gta has a cfw check, so make sure you use a script bypass eboot.

The eboot is pretty much the brain of the game, it also loads the menu (the .sprx file)

put it in dev_hdd0/game/(game region)/USRDIR
(i personally delete the eboot in there first, just to make sure it transfers fine)

then the sprx(the menu) goes in
dev_hdd0/tmp (the name of the file has to be the name of the file that the eboot loads, so if the thread you find an eboot on says "this eboot loads GTA.sprx" then name your sprx GTA.sprx)

(the eboot that loads the sprx will work for any sprx under that name, there is no such thing as an eboot assigned to a specific sprx, so you could use the gnxks eboot (which loads __GNXKS.sprx) and just name your sprx that and it will work).

Also, for gta 5, you can modify the update.rpf so you can use script menus (in my opinion this is the best one : You must login or register to view this content.

this also has a sprx, feel free to install that menu if you want(P.S people call the update.rpf "ModLoaders" just so you know what to look for, also this specific modloader opens with L3 + R3

every time you download an sprx file, scan it with this tool, it will check for any cid stealers.
this can also scan rtm tools for any cid stealers.

Also, just noticed the part where you said you want to use RTM tools, so here's some memes :

there are 2 ways of using RTM tools, Enstone's Control Console (most commonly referred to as CCAPI), and ProDG's Target Manager (most commonly referred to as TMAPI)

CCAPI is Wireless, easier to use(as in, more noob friendly), and quicker to set up, however it is a slower connection than TMAPI.

TMAPI is connected to your PC via ethernet cable, and is less noob friendly and takes longer to set up than ccapi, (my ethernet port is busted, so I've never ventured too far into TMAPI, however there are a few settings i know that you need to tinker with in the debug setting section). However, i recommend this because it is much more rewarding for its faster connection.

to set up ccapi, install your preferred version onto the ps3 using the pkg file, open it once installed and it should say something to do with succeeding. (where you said you are on 4.80, i think only CCAPI 2.70 supports that firmware version, however, i could be wrong about that).
Next go to your PC using the EXACT same version you installed on your ps3, run the exe.
Now install blackbox ftp pkg file on your ps3, open it and remember the ip (or just keep it open)
now add a console to ccapi (i think you right click to do that) and type the exact ip on the ps3.

Success! now you should be able to connect via CCAPI with any supporting tools. (if they don't work, replace the PS3Lib.dll and CCAPI.dll with the ones that your version of ccapi supports)

I personally don't use TMAPI because i have a broke ethernet port so I don't know much about it, just use a youtube tutorial. (if you are going to rtm with TMAPI, make sure you have a debug eboot, else the tool won't attach).

EDIT:
just noticed you also mention you don't know too much about using a new cid (or at least, i think that's what you mean)

If your cid gets banned, just buy a private one from a trusted seller (approx 6/10 cid sellers re-sell the cid they sell you, so make sure you find a reputable seller) then go into ccapi, and paste in the cid (make sure you're connected to the ps3) and click "Set current IDPS", then click "Set boot IDPS"

now every time the ps3 turns on, the cid will auto be set to the unbanned one you purchased.

Note : just to rid of any confusion, an IDPS is the CID

So with advice from a friend, I've settled on CEX for now, using CCAPI 2.7, and the TotalCurryTool. So far it's pretty awesome except it freezes a lot with things like money drops and the model changer. Ideally I want to convert back to DEX, and run some script menus where I don't have to use my pc while in game. I don't know which of the free ones work best, or even how to install them lol, but now that I got a bit of a better grasp on using CCAPI, RTM tools, and also the pregame process for getting online, I think the rest should be fairly easy except I'm still on BLUS as well hahaha. It's fun, but I'm pretty damn limited to what I can do and as others have warned me about, it's glitchy asf and freezes a lot. Do you guys think if I switched to DEX and BLES, that the TotalCurry tool for example would function better and not freeze? Or is that just an issue with certain functions in the tool because it's free and whatnot?

i would personally convert to dex as . cex cant use many sprx menus and freezes a ton and on top of that can get banned easier . just so u know

are you pressing the right button combo or if the eboot you use loads sprx menus as Gtamenu.sprx then gnxs.sprx needs to be renamed to that
