(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); OK so for the past two weeks i have been having issues getting gta online to work . i WAS playing PERFECTLY fine and turned my Ps3 off . to turn my PS3 on the next day as i normally would and i keep getting the alert error message " timed out getting current compatibility pack configuration ect ect " now i have searched high and low to find a solution for this . i for one do not know what went wrong for this to occur but searched and to no avail i found absolutely nothing to fix this .*

i have tryed pretty much everything

1 i have reset my whole ps3 3 different times and completely reinstalled the game and data .*

2 i have reset all my internet settings .*

3 i have reset my ps3 setting*

4 i have redownloaded the patch 5 different times

5 i have created a complete new PS3 account and tried my PSN on that account*

6 *. i have created a complete new PSN

7I CAN PLAY ANY OTHER ONLINE GAME !!!!!!!!*

8 . I HAVE CONTACTED ROCKSTAR . i just get generated emails. must have to keep talking to the bots. *it *obviously takes a few responses before u get a real human .*

9 im fairly sure ive tried other tricks and methods but it has been a long two weeks trying to figure out why this is the only game i cant play online , when i was perfectly fine. ???

What broadband services have you got and try port forwarding, you will get a list of ports from Sony site advising what ports need to be opened and also ensure that your PNP is turned off once you open them ports, finally your security in your router may be interfering, good luck!
