Post: Does Rockstar ban mac addresses?
07-04-2016, 09:41 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I know the most common way Rockstar bans players are through CIDs or player accounts. I am having issues (addressed in another post) and am starting to wonder if they ban mac addresses on occasion also.*

Does anyone have a solid answer?

Yes they do. While not nearly as often as they do with CIDs or accounts they have been known to ban Mac Addresses.

Okay, thanks for the info.

Would you happen to know if when you change mac addresses, it has to be a valid mac address or can it be just any numbers/letters?

I've never changed my MAC Address before so i couldn't tell you for sure but this thread should give you a good idea of what to change it to: You must login or register to view this content.
