After that it asks you to go to a clothing store, none appear on the map, the only thing that appears is car washes. I can go into clothing stores (i remember where their located) but cannot interact with a single thing. I am using an sprx menu, but cannot see how it could be the issue. Any help to get me back online is greatly appreciated!

Best if you use serendipity you can just skip the tut

Some sprx have that problem I know that gnxks have that problem, just change you're sprx and you will be allright.
Personally I only use paid ones and never have those problems.

So many bugs thanks to 1.27 Mr Kickok. I use Serendipity but the rpf from a 1.27 ready mod loader i got from here. All works.

If you have access to a computer, download a free RTM.

When you create the character and get to the blue screen after naming your character, do not click accept.
Open the RTM and connect, change your rank to 120 and give yourself a little bit of cash to get started.

Then click on accept.

You should log in your lobby with everything available to you and successfully bypassing the online tutorial.
