there's absolutely nothing new to bring to the table.

I learned from doing things myself, no one taught me or most of the bigger names around here, we learned by editing and testing inch by inch. Doing it yourself helps you to find things not found yet becuase your touching things and editing things you at first have no clue of, my 8th biggest find was a nuclear wormhole stickybomb that launched me up to number 2 in the world for player kills and it was something unseen until I made it, try to edit something and let us know what you come up with.

I stopped playing about 3 weeks before 1.16 came out, I got pretty bored of the game even with mods. I jailbroke one of my PS3's around patch 1.13 (wish I'd done sooner, not for GTA mind you), which was when I got bored of playing vanilla. Rockstar aren't really adding anything in the updates to keep people playing, game gets boring regardless. Besides, it'll probably be dead when it hits PC/PS4/One anyway.

Just play something else, you can buy good pre-owned games off of Amazon for like £2 now (or of course free...)

You call it modding, I call it learning. And putting people down for wanting to learn isn't what this website is supposed to be about. Yes you can always teach yourself, but not everything. Think of where you'd be right now, if every time you asked someone to help you or teach you something, they told you to figure it out. Just food for thought.
