The Hotknife will only work if you have the Collectors edition DLC installed or if your on PS4/XB1 or PC than you will get it. otherwise its not possible.

Yeah did some research and seems so.
If I download my friends game through gameshare, I'll have it? I noticed that he had the hammer in the ammunation so I believe his gta5 is the CE.

The DLC is a separate download. Its not in the game its something that is downloaded separately.
