I have multiple friend requests and don't know if they're from NGU or just random people. I have asked once, and I will ask again. Please comment your PSN in the thread and also add my PSN. When I accept friend requests, I go down through the comments checking names and add them on PSN if their name is in the comments. I don't just accept all friend requests.
