1: Find an area to take cover on that has little to no walking space, and take cover.

2: Look in front or to the sides, and Press and Hold L2, to aim.

3: Simply look down, and try to make your feet slip off by looking left and right slowly.

4: Once you get your feet to slip off, stay still and do not look at the area you where taking cover on. Plus don't let go of L2, the aiming button.
(You can get it to take cover again while you are sliding down, but i can't really remember how to do that.)
