Post: How to Kick a User from Router/Connection?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys,so I have this cousin that ALWAYS torrents on his computer. I mean ALWAYS. Whenever e comes home, he'll start torrenting and BAM, my internet speeds plummet.

This affects me on PS3 as well, I mean, I would be on a 4 bar connection, then he'll come back and I'll be lagging on a 1 bar connection.

I was wondering of a way to "kick" him from the router until he stops. He is connected through DHCP, using the router's wifi.

Thanks!

yes you can can block services on your router to stop this such as p2p and bittorrent it would help if you set yourself up with a static ip address and give your ps3 a higher priority over traffic than your cousins comp/laptop using Qos aswell login to your router and have a look at what settings you have
