How to Cheat Captcha

So I found out about this the other day and it has come in very handy for me when I am speeding through a form and then you see this:

You must login or register to view this content.

But, this secret can save you a lot of time by "cheating" captcha.

As of this moment I am not entirely sure to the extent of how well this works, I know that it works for the above type of captcha (the one used on 4chan) plus I have used it a few times when filling out forms,so it works pretty well.

The secret is that captcha only uses 1 word as verification, and the other word has no effect whatsoever on if you mistype it or not. Let me show you how to tell which is the real captcha word, and which is just a placefiller.

The general rule I follow is that the "legit" word is the one that has a drop shadow behind it, like this one:

You must login or register to view this content.

and that the other word, will always be the "phony"

You must login or register to view this content.

This means that for this example:

You must login or register to view this content.

You could type: thinitte whatiamtypingrightnowisnotrelevant

and it would work, and I have tried, and it did!

How this benefits you

You may claim that typing what is above is even longer that the OG captcha, and this is only really for teh lulz, but actually this can be a timesaver. Instead of typing the phony word, just type a single letter and it gets accepted, which albeit isn't much, but can save precious time when you need to type in a captcha to stop the nuclear missile from launching :carling:.

If you are not sure which word is the "legit" one then you can also use these tell-tale signs:

Different Font

You must login or register to view this content.

Here, modern is the phony word as it is in a different font to the standard captcha word.

Upside down text

You must login or register to view this content.

You may be obliged to think that you need to type "eyNovele can" here, because that is what the upside-down word says, but actually this just means that "can" is the phony word,so you can type "eyNovele jesus" and it would still work.

Punctuation

You must login or register to view this content.

As well as being in a different font, the "students" in this captcha clearly has an apostrophe in it, which means that it is the phony word.

Lulwat? Captchas

You have probably seen people posting captchas like this one:

You must login or register to view this content.

and they are like Z0mg! How do I write this?!?!

But actually, this just means that the... whatever it is isn't relevant, and you just ignore it basically, it is the same as a phony word.

Another example:

You must login or register to view this content.

Unless you have a spare chinese keyboard, I don't recommend trying to type this one fully, just replace the symbol with a letter or something. Captcha wont mind Awesome face

Anyway, I hope my post helps you guys out!
