this most likely isnt how its set up it likely they pay so much per 100 views but if its 1 cent each xcal made 31 thousand dollars yesterday

It's no where close to 1 cent per view / etc. It's closer to something like 2.50 / 1000 "Units" being views / comments and subs, added together. It also depends on ad clickthrough.

Machinma is by far the smartest out of them all, people submit videos to them to upload and they profit.

And the pay is a lot less then $2.50/1000 or $0.01/view. Its depends on the ad itself and if its clicked. Comments dont get people money. It is adsense driven so its more like $1/1000 views. None the less still profitable. I always wondered why NGU didnt set up a Machinma type youtube channel, there is enough of a user core to do such a thing.
