i like it but it kinda sucks for people who need to change their channel background layout like you said

They change more than Facebook does. I like the classic theme for youtube

That's because it's true.. Every time they change their layout, it is always worse. Either stop changing it, or get a better design team...

The new layout sucks balls. They should at least give us the option to switch back to the previous layout, or any YouTube layout from the past. That WOULD be nice.
