Hey guys! Recently I found an iPhone 3GS and decided to replace the screen, so I could sell it. I bought a full screen replacement (screen, shield, home button, etc...) from a company called "Bestumart" on Amazon. They sent me a screen with the cables in the wrong order, making it extremely difficult, if not impossible, to install. Here are some pictures, comparing the original from Apple, and the replacement from Bestumart (click them to make them bigger.)

At first I thought that maybe what I had was an iPhone 3G and not a 3GS. But then I remember updating it to iOS 5.0.1. (also the serial number indicated that it was a 3GS) I exchanged a few emails with the seller, and then returned the item for a replacement. When I opened the package yesterday, I realized that what the had sent me was EXACTLY the same as the first one. Here is what I was told when I sent the pictures in: "The pictures you sent are very helpful. We will now send them to our supplier and ask them to figure the problem out." Did they do this? Obviously not. How can these idiots send me two faulty products AFTER I SPECIFICALLY told them the problem. Then I told them that if they didn't pull their crap together (not my actually words, don't worry.) I was going to leave a bad review. I also made sure I was clear when I asked them for instructions for installation, so maybe I could install the product some how. I then received another email from some idiot, telling me that they could send me the tracking label so I could get a refund. I did not request a refund. I asked for instructions. Of course, they flat out ignored my request, thinking they could get away with this bullshit.
I have spent a month dealing with these morons, and in the end, Bestumart was the only one that was happy, considering that they basically stole my money. So I think I drew this out long enough, and I think that they owe me the $150 that I would have sold the iPhone for, plus the HORRID service that I had been given. Yes, I realize that I could just order another one from another seller, but there are not any others with high enough reviews, or they are just too expensive. I am tempted to threaten a suit against them for the $150 unless they just send it to me. I would understand if you guys think I am going to far, but as a company, they hardly have the RIGHT to treat me this horribly. Thanks guys. Hopefully I can get this settled.
EDIT:
When I finally figured out how to install it, the proximity sensor and the head speaker do not work, and the home button does not respond. All cables are inserted correctly, and I think they broke my phone. I am highly frustrated, and I think they need to buy me a new iPhone.
m8 you should have just contacted them to get them to explain shit, but now its too late they will not buy you another iPhone just because you decided to fix it yourself that was your fault they just sell replacements if you want a new phone Social Engineer one or buy one.
