Well, due to the newest version of Screensnapr, a lot of people aren't able to use their custom sites to show snaps. So a great alternative to use is Jing =D Here's a tutorial on how to set up a site from scratch and use it for Jing.

1. First and foremost, download Jing. - You must login or register to view this content. It works for Mac or PC so you're fine.

Now for getting your site.

2. You need hosting. So I recommended either 000webhost or Binhoster. These are both free hosts. They aren't the best, but you get what you pay for. I have a paid host, but I know how Binhoster works just fine. Alright. First You must login or register to view this content. and make an account. Sign up with your information (it's a trusted site :p) and then verify your account via email. From the link in your email, it's going to ask you what type of hosting you want. Before you select anything, it should say $1.99 unmetered. Change it to free. Okay. Now, pause where you're at.

3. Now you need to get your domain. Open a new tab and visit You must login or register to view this content. . Pick your domain and go through the registration. Once you pick it, the first option will ask you about using your domain. Click "Use DNS", and click use your own DNS. Then put in the following addresses as host names (if you decide to use Binhoster):

    ns1.binhoster.com

ns2.binhoster.com

In the box next to each of them, if you click it, an autofill should be "n/a" if it doesn't, that's alright. Finish making your acc, etc.Then login to your account there.

4. Go back to the Binhoster tab, and put in your domain, and pick a password. It may take up to 12 hours to set, sometimes it doesn't.

5. An email should have been dispersed to you by Binhoster by now. In the email, when you scroll down, you should see your FTP information. You can login to your FTP using cPanel, or whatever. I use FileZilla cause I like it. Login. Once there, you should see /public_html/. Before you get started, just create a .txt on your desktop. Once done, drag and drop that into /public_html/. Rename it to "index.php" and then right click -> view/edit. You can edit your index however you'd like. It's your site.

6. While still in /public_html/, right click and select "Create New Directory." Name that directory wherever you want your snaps stored. Mine is named "Snapr." That should create a folder. Click that. In there, drag the same .txt file you created on your desktop into there. Rename it "index.php." You can design that however you want as well, HOWEVER, you MUST post the following code where you want the Snap to appear:

That will display your snap.

7. This is just a simple code. Paste this all the way at the bottom of your snapr's index.php file:

    <?die()?>

Now all you need to do is setup your snapr with Jing. Below, I have a voice tutorial on how to do it. Watch carefully:
