Post: DealExtreme Refund Limited My Paypal

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I recently returned an item and received a refund, however for some reason, the refund limited my account, and now I cannot access the money or the account. I have been using Paypal for years, and have been in PERFECT standing till the refund was sent. Here is a Live Chat that I held with a service rep:

Harrison: i need some help with a refund
Alfred: May I know your order number?
Harrison: yes

Alfred: $ 40.20 has been done, could you pls check your paypal e-mail?
Harrison: Yes, i know, however this payment limited my paypal account and i cannot access the funds at all
Alfred: Is one credit card of yours related to the paypal account?
Harrison: i have a gift card attached to it
Alfred: The refund ID of this one is ****
Alfred: Pls contact your paypal to ask about it
Harrison: I have, they cannot help me
Harrison: I would appreciate it if i received a refund to another account
Alfred: We have refunded it already, it is irreversible
Harrison: Well then send me the money to another account. I am very frustrated that DX had my paypal limited, and I need you to send the money to another account
Alfred: it is irreversible
Alfred: We cannot refund the money twice
Harrison: You will, because it is your fault that my account is limited, and that I cannot even touch the money
Alfred: You think it is reasonable that we know about every customer's paypal account's details, pls
Harrison: Okay, let me simplify this for you. Your refund made my account not work. This is not my fault, because I have used paypal for years without any trouble. All I am asking is that you send the 40.20 to my other account.
Harrison: i dont care that you already sent a refund. your company makes millions of dollars, and all i am asking for is an extra 40.20. if it wasn't dealextremes fault, i wouldn't ask you for the money
Alfred: We have refunded your money to where the money came, and the refund is irreversable. Please contact paypal to transfer your money to you.
Alfred: Please read our FAQ for the quetions, which you still think are not answered
Harrison: That is not possible. My account is limited. what dont you understand about that? IT IS YOUR FAULT
Harrison: my account was in PERFECT standing until he refund wassent.
Harrison: Hello?
Alfred: I think I have stated all clearly
Harrison: How can you blame me for the acount being limited?
Alfred: Please read our FAQ page, we refund the payment to where it came
Alfred: You didn't read it before you purchased?
Harrison: Of course I did, I'm not a moron! All I want you to do is send $40 to my other Paypal!
Alfred: What you asked, is to undermine the rules and benefit of dx
Harrison: what about the benefit of the CUSTOMER?
Alfred: After the refund is issued, all problems are out of "jurisdictions" of dx.
Harrison: I highly doubt you could get in any trouble for simply righting a wrong that was done by your company.
Harrison: You broke my account! That is your responsibility to fix, not mine!



Can they really not help me? Or do they just not care? I am so frustrated! :FU:
