(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Feel free to move this to a different section. Couldn't be bothered to go find the correct one, but whatever.

Basically, on facebook, I've seen several people subscribe to me/seen people on facebook with only their first name showing?

Such as this:
You must login or register to view this content.

If anyone thinks that is edited, here is their profile: You must login or register to view this content.

Basically, I was wondering how the hell these people are doing this?

I believe they basically just change their name to whatever they please. Like mine is Michael 'Florida' Lessing. Since my nickname is Florida. Its just a matter of changing your name, once doing so it has to get approved and it'll be changed in a few hours, at most.

As said, if you leave last name, middle name blank, it says that you must have a last name.

Do a barrel roll!
i think you go to general account settings and on the right side it will say edit click on it and it will show you your first name, middle (optional) and last erase your last name and press the spacebar enter your password and press save changes. I dont know if this will work but its worth a try. Smile

I was going to suggest exactly what Gazoomba said. Spaces are usually the answer, or a period.

Tried both of them, and it doesn't work. Says "Facebook needs you first name and surname" or something like that.

My last suggestion at this point is try contacting FaceBook support and asking them. Certain users (Wittness protection users, FAMOUS users, etc) had to of done something along these lines.

Hm, that's a good idea. But it can't be "famous" people, because the one linked in my original post, has 90 subscribers and 100 friends?

I was just using famous as an example, but give that shot and tell me if it works out for you. Smile Hope I helped. Cheers
