Have you done any recent updates? Try checking to make sure the driver is up to date. You may have a program conflicting with the wireless driver forcing it to shut down.

Laptop wireless cards are not perfect, sometimes they go out. If it is out, you can order a new one and replace it or buy a wireless card and insert it into an extra USB slot. They have micro versions now that work very well and are hard to notice. Sad fact.

Look up your laptop and the model and see if others are having the same issue.

I went to my device manager and then network adapters and it says there is three. Atheros , Marvell Yukon and microsoft Virtual Wifi Miniport Adapter. And there all up to date. i don't really know but all this started when i opened avg anti virus and then went to fix performance it deleted some stuff i don't know if that had to with it.

If it deleted some stuff then it might have removed some files that were essential to it operating properly. I've had something similar happen.

Try getting a micro wifi card from a friend or connecting your laptop directly into your router with an ethernet. You should maintain a connection, if not then it might be something else.

disconnect all your phone lines, reboot router/modem plug all lines in, then you should be good 2 go.

I connect my ethernet directly to my dsl modem.

Sometimes doing a hard reset of your network devices works wonders too.
