(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I know that Lovol posted a tutorial on how to make a custom screen snapping website, but it's kind of outdated and it isn't really known so I am going to recreate a tutorial on how to set up your own screen snapping website! This tutorial includes the follow:
How to set up a website
How to set up a domain (.tk for this tutorial since it is free)
How to use FTP for the website.

Programs to download:
You must login or register to view this content.
You must login or register to view this content.
[Optional] You must login or register to view this content.

1. We are going to need a webserver to start off. You may use the free webservers like 000webhost, but it's kind of against their terms of use so I advice to buy a webserver. Look through NGU as some members have webservers starting at 1-2$ :p. I am going to use 000webhost for instance. Sign up on 000webhost and then verify your email. Once you verify your email, Create a new webserver and from there name your website on a subdomain. Once you submit, you will see your [WEBSITE NAME], [USERNAME] and [PASSWORD]. Copy them and put it into a notepad.

2. Download FTP and install it. Once installed, run it and put the [HOST] your [WEBSITE NAME], [USERNAME] [USERNAME] and [PASSWORD] [PASSWORD] ports blank. It will load up and you will see public_html. Click on it, and delete the default.php and .htaccess BUT do not delete anything else. Right click, new directory, and you can put a name for your screen snapping folder so you can have things neat.

3. Download Jing and install it. You may need to create a account, it's fine. Just sign up and once you do that, then you don't need to do anything verification. Now, you will see the little sun on top of your desktop which you may think "OMG, I don't want this!" Just click it and click the more settings (third tab) and you will see the "the the jing sun and launch on startup". Just unclick launch on start up and click hide the jing sun. Now, stay on that page. Click the customize buttons and click new. You will see "FTP" on the list so click on it. Fill out the information in that page with [SERVER] [WEBSITENAME], [DIRECTORY] [THE DIRECTORY YOU MADE ect /public_html/mydirectory/], USERNAME and password. It should look something like this:
You must login or register to view this content.

test it and if you see "setting looks good!", this is the most important part and do not miss this out. Under clipboard settings under your FTP detail, click the drop down menu and put custom code. Copy this and edit "yourwebsite" and "your directory" to yours: You must login or register to view this content.[filename] . Put it in both boxes and do not remove the [filename]! Once you done that, it should look like this:
You must login or register to view this content.

Save it and now go your preferences and put the capture hotkey to your keys. Ect, CTRL + W (without using the + when capturing an area.) Also, enable video hotkeys if you want to record videos and put it up your website :p. Once that is done, click finish and go test out your screensnaper! All files will save to your directory and you can login your FTP anytime and delete the images off there.
Now, you downloaded notepad ++ to add some designs to your homepage. Look up tutorials and you will enjoy doing this :p.

Now, you want to make your domain shorter? You can buy a .com for 5 dollars a year on godaddy.com, or you can use a free .tk which I am going to show you how to set it up:

Visit You must login or register to view this content. and sign up. Once you sign up, login into your account. Go to domain panel and add a domain. Put the domain you want and click add new domain. Once that is done, click free and use the DNS for this domain. Click it and click "use my own DNS servers." Go to your 000webhost account, click your website domain, and go over account overview. Copy the name servers and paste it into the nameserver on .tk. Ignore the IP and put your domain registration length for 12 months. Remember that after a year, renew it or else the domain expires! Click enter and now, go back to your 000webhost, go back to your domain page and go to "park domain". Copy your .tk website link and paste it in your park domains. Wait 24 hours and now go back to your jing settings and renew the You must login or register to view this content.[filename] to your You must login or register to view this content.. tk/mydirectory/[filename] (withoutspace). Once the 24 hours is up, you may use it and you can share your links as a .tk.

Hope you guys enjoy this tutorial and here are some known FAQ:
My website isn't loading!
If you are using the free webservers, it's going to be down at least some times each day. Don't ask me why, but it's how it works which is why you need to buy your own webserver.

Can I install a forum in my website or add anything?
Yes you may. You can add a new directory and add a forum from there or use the hosting preinstalled version of the forum which will save you some time. You may also add anything you want as long as it doesn't do harm to the webhost or break the TOS severely.

How do I keep the photos private in the directory?
Open up notepad, add "this directory is forbidden" or anything, then save it as index.html. Go to your folder of the screenshots, and put it there.

How do I customize my webscreensnap like Liam's screensnap?
Ask Liam as he is the one who owns it. You can build one yourself by looking up tutorials.

Can I use other programs and not Jing?
Yes as long as it has the FTP details of your site in it.

Feel free to ask any more questions.
