i had this problem since ios 5.0, when i use the gps my network status on top will reset and i have to wait a good 2-3 mins. for it to come back this happens every time gps loads,

Don't know anything about IOS modding ect. This also may sound dumb, but have you tried resetting your iPhone?

not dumb i know some people dont try the most easiest things and yes ive tried resetting i know other who have same problem as me but idk if its cause if its when i updated to ios5 is when this problem started coming up with now is kinda annoying since i use to use the iphone as a gps when i was traveling
