How do I downgrade from iTunes 11 to 10.7 forever

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I am an XP user and use iTunes for managing music. I greatly dislike iTunes 11 and want to permanently downgrade to iTunes 10.7. I have followed the steps described here and elsewhere to downgrade and have done so successfully.

However, every time I open up iTunes, it has automatically upgraded itself to iTunes 11. I have followed this cycle 3 or 4 times, and each time my hatred for iTunes 11 grows.

I have checked the box in iTunes not to look for updates, and that didn't work. I even uninstalled apple updater, and that didn't even work.

I'm about to ditch iTunes altogether if I can't get it to stay where I want it. Please help!

You can download iTunes from another source but it will probably spam the living shit out of you for an update. But I have a trick for you, if you doesn't like the new iTunes style you can click Ctrl +S to use the old one.
