Oh. Well yea you need to know a bit about Swift or Objective-C ( Objective-C if you want to be old fashioned) They are both different programming languages. If you learn either one language, you can use Xcode to input and edit the codes you need for the app. Xcode is the offical Apple program for making Apple applications that are compatible with IOS devices. Unfortunately, Xcode can only be downloaded on Macs. If you have Windows, I don't really know what program you could use. But of course you could always attempt to run Virtualbox on Windows the emulate some features of a Mac onto your comptuter.
